RUSTBELT

My Rustbelt series came to life alongside my Hachure collection – considering the man-made weathering and the wearing away, deterioration and decay of urban life in many of the now extinct manufacturing communities. I hope to depict the sharp decline in industrial work which left many factories abandoned and desolate, causing increased rust from exposure to the elements.
